We are sold out of our Southern Mikados, but that doesn't mean we forget those who bought those models from us. For that reason, we wanted to offer a set that would compliment their purchases, and enhance the value of their locomotives. That is another ideal we try to uphold: do things that will increase the value of your AZL collection. Maybe you should look at the PA1 one more time someone just paid $6860.99 for the brass santa fe AB set. I voted for the PA1 in the poll, and I am glad to see that it ranked at 2nd spot . Given that the PA1 has a very simple design compared with big steam locos, I guess it would make sense to produce it again even in brass!

Look at the model number...these are like the first railcars AZL produced maybe 10 years ago. I've seen them in person and they look great although the Daylight set was fantastic. Mark Hi, Mark. If I am not mistaken, some brass Daylight cars were produced by AZL even before the set you are speaking about. They were sold together with the GS-4 locomotives. Even articulated ones. I have been looking for some in the secondary market for years, in vain. I guess they are all treasured in some vault

We need lightweight passenger cars for all the beautiful name trains of the golden age of diesel! :-)

I voted F3 A B set, because of the greater choice of cars to accompany them, both passengers and freight :-) . By itself I would have voted the E8, but unfortunately all my preferred designs came either without a set of cars (Santa Fe, Southern Pacific and so on) or were impossible to purchase (UP)

Alco PA1! After all, she was the "queen of diesel" and an honorary steam locomotive, was it not? :-D

I believe the pictures in this 3d are some of the most beautiful I ever saw! Sometimes it is difficult to even tell them apart from real life scenery :-)

Yes we will. First out is the Krauss-Maffei ML-4000 (2017 delivery) followed by the N&W J Class steam (2018 delivery or so we think). This is wonderful! I love streamlined locos. I am starting to save money immediately :-) I did not vote in any poll for this new brass project (if any), but I would definitely have voted for the J class !!!
