Greg, that is almost as bad as the Lego AC-7 or the DDa40DX where the center of the loco *completely* clears the *opposite* side of the track !
But I understand AZL (and others) have to sell to the 80-90% market that runs on 'snap' track 195-220mm. For those of us 5% that run typical minimums of 12-15" (300-380mm), a pilot or body mount is perfect.

*That's* what I was looking for. Thanks for the clarification.

Just so ya know, Conducta Lube has absolutely no conductivity - what so ever. (put an drop of it on glass or plastic and place your ohm meter across the drop. oo < infinite = OPEN.
It is simply a way to suppress oxidation or other 'stuff' from getting in the way of good conductivity. Just about ANY oil or lubricant product will pretty much do the same.
Again, it is NOT an electrically conducting lubricant.

I have *a lot* of rolling stock. But, with this last year's release of locos and the upcoming ones, that ratio is starting to diminish ! Argh, have to build more modules for more scenes. Can only lash so many locos together but we did do that for fun at one show.

Great handlaid track, Frank. Good ballast technique too. Thanks for sharing.

OMG ! This is a great way to finish out the ACF hoppers! With the individual cars, along with the 4 car set, combined with the original 3-bay UP sets plus the later released cars and additional 4-bays makes for a nice unit train. I frequently see these mash ups on the UP north and south runs of the San Joaquin valley runs. Most are shorter trains, 40-60 cars with 2 pulling and 1 pushing locomotive.

Yep ! Ditch lights, dual (independent) nose lights, number boards, interior lighting. Going to be many Digitrax replacements.

if you were making a yard, the easiest way was to just taper down to direct on the surface. Balsa wood is great for this. Prototype roadbed is higher than the sidings. Since you apparently laid track with roadbed everywhere, you could use some solid fill, like Matt (Curn) suggests. Low cost Balsa wood, card board (cereal boxes, etc.), cork, styrene, etc. I would stay away from liquid products like Spackling, Sculptamold, etc. You will get it all into the ties, no matter how much you try and tape off the track (blue masking tape).

Awesome. Adds the option for Ditch Lights, beacon or split front lights !
I'm not pre-paying but I'll 'guarantee' them that they'll get purchased (thru my local hobby shop).

Hans commented about SP Mikes, after we found so road number sets. Mentioned probably next run.
If short runs are going to be made, the GE Diesels, like U-boats, should be there, rather than some micro variation of nearly the same/very similar loco style.

GREAT to have something short (more cars on a spur or mixed freight). Looks like a rapid prototype mock up, always a quick way to check ProEngineer shop behind us has 27 different types to work with. syrup tanker is a great add too. All those new locos, just means more trains running at shows. We are adding another yard so we will have more railroad specific locations spread out along the routes. Jeff SF Bay Area Z

Is fhere a reference to a typical consist? The observation car is not at the end of the listed cars and the box is packed randomly.

Guess we should post some pix too. Just a few UP's in the yard today. Hien's handywork on the Autoracks. Here is the brass E-8 resting on a siding. Robert Ray's station kit.

Rob (K), he's being facetious.
I'll translate: Do you have and expected date for these rumored locos?
