I cannot find anthing on an AZL F3-F9 but I could have sworn there was an AZL F3 in the works previously.
Am I imagening it or is there a plan to release any F units?
Thanks, Robert

Rob (K), he's being facetious.
I'll translate: Do you have and expected date for these rumored locos?

No date yet guys - probably the fall.
I've got a working prototype and it runs smooth as silk. This baby comes from the same factory that made the Mikado, and those guys know what they are doing.
No decoration sample yet - I'll probably get that over the summer.

Have you chosen any paint schemes yet? Not that I would ever try and bribe anyone but
C&O Chessie System = Where do I send the Beer? WM Chessie System = Where do I send the chocolate C&O 3 color Passenger Scheme = Where do I send the Beer and Chocolate to?

C&O Chessie System WM Chessie System I'm not aware that the Chessie System paint was ever applied to any of the F-units. Do you have any proto-photos?

It appears you may be right. While I know the F7 units were in survive through the late 70's, well into the Chessie system years, I have not bin able to find a single photo of a actual f-7 in Chessie paint. It's hard to believe that all the photos and models I have seen over the years are of a fictitious paint scheme. It just goes to show that Even a old guy like me can learn something new every day.
Fictitious or not I would still like to have a F7 wearing the Chessie paint scheme.

I'm not sure that there is really a market for fantasy paint schemes, except possibly on the Christmas tree And I don't ever want to think about the discussions about the paint scheme not being "prototypical" enough. Mark

CB&Q F-unit in Grey.
Would also like to see E-units made in plastic.
