Hi Rob, Just wondering if AZL has any plans for future Brass engines? I know you guys are really busy but just wondering if brass is off the table>

Yes we do. We would like to do at least one brass locomotive per year, and we are considering our next brass loco right now.
Hans likes the ATSF "Santa Fe" class locomotives. I'm more interested in doing the N&W "J" Class.
Cheers, -Robert

Hi Robert, My roster screams "Santa fe" class please; a 10 wheeler would be nice addition. But I do like the streamlined look of the J class. Any possibility of rerelease of some of the modern Brass, like the E8. I bought the 12 car SP daylight set and didn't know at the time the GS4 didn't have a traction tyre. It would be scary to think what I would pay for an SD70Ace in the heritage daylight colors. Just some thoughts and I'm very happy to hear you will be continuing with the brass releases

I'd go for the Santa Fe, particularly the WP 481 class.

Other than the earlier Aspen releases, and its recent PS-4, AZL has been the only game in town for brass steam. All 4 of AZL's previous steam locos have been of western roads. How about that N&W J you suggested, Rob? I hope you can prod Hans to move in that direction. I would buy one in a heartbeat!

Perhaps the question isn't which one but which one first? And if you do Challengers again, don't forget the WP. Mark

I would like to see a Diesel that probably well never make it to plastic. How about a CSX AC6000CW.

Currently, we have no new brass engine in the pipeline. Our plans is to add a project later this year. With the usual development time early 2016 could be possible. Once we are underway, we will make a post to the AZL Forum. Sincerely, Hans

After trying to win a couple of the old diesel brass engines I think you might consider producing more diesel brass. I mean really $2500 for a used BNSF C44-9W engine and the SP daylight set @ $5,500 and its not over yet. That at least shows some demand.

Hey Rob,
Is it possibly that we will see another release of the SP GS3 or GS4 sometime soon? It would be nice to have a Mikado with Southern Pacific on it in the mean time...

Rob,
I just recently entered the world of Z (takes much less acreage than G-scale) and have missed a very desirable release of a brass steam locomotive; the SP GS3 and GS4! Is it possible for one to special order one of these machines?

Never... ... ..! Are there plans for an injection SP Mikado? After purchasing the SP Sunset Limited heavyweight set that are of the vintage of the 30's and 40's they are screaming for steam. Mark
