The first release of the SD70/75 are known to be slow runners. They have double bearings on the trucks. The fix is to remove the inner bearing.

I only mentioned the AC4400 because I was under the impression that it was in the AZL pipeline. The gestation period of the AZL AC4400 is longer then a elephant. It was announce like four years ago, and we still don't have a prototype.

There's a problem using the Digitrax decoder. The led is so far back that the front lights looks almost off. Its barely visible. I don't know why AZL went with a extended led. It would make more sense to extend the fiber optics into the led.

I would like to see a Diesel that probably well never make it to plastic. How about a CSX AC6000CW.

The DC z scale group does dcc? Getting Randy and Bryan to dcc is like pulling their teeth. They still run dc. The only person in the group does know a thing or two about is dcc is the guy living in AZL galactic headquarter. Rob A's layout is fully computer controlled.

Timothy, some of us have engines with burn motors, and they are impossible to find. I need at least 3 chassis. One to replace a burn motor, and 2 for the SD70Ace shell.

Mark, AZL sold some GP38 with a decoder installed.

I don't like to use a nail to hold the track. What I like to do is put a little superglue to hold it in place and let the ballast and white glue to keep it secure.

I am still waiting for Santa, because the SD70's didn't make it for Dec. I hope the boat didn't take the Samalian route.

If I am reading this correctly. The tooling for the GE is made by the old factory, and they are holding it holding it hostage. The fun of doing business in China never ends.

We will not have the AC4400 ready for NTS this year. Hope to have production drawings / tooling photo of the F3A and SD45 instead. The SD45 kind of jumped the waiting line, leaving the GE product upset Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

It seems more sense to come out with the GE product then then the other two locos when most AZL cars are modern.

Living in Florida, the gaps seems to develop by themselves. Where I like to solder is in the curves. It helps keep it in shape, but for straight tracks, I like to leave them unsolder. So far, I haven't had too much problem. My modules have gone from the freezing weather of 40 degrees in the winter to the hot humid Florida heat in the summer without causing too much trouble to my tracks.

I am thinking of making a imperfect track and still run a train in it. I would love to do a scene where a train is limited to 10 mph due to the track condition. I think it would look great to see the engines and cars wobbling all over the track.
