Would someone from AZL start a new thread on the Maxi-Stack future releases (with more images )? I'm very interested in details and am getting lost in the other details in this thread.

Some quick notes about the AZL California Zephyr. We will make 4 different 11 car sets. Also we will sell the sole PRR CZ passenger car separately. We are developing a special packaging for the sets as well. In Silver. There are 7 unique passenger cars in the 11 car consist: -Baggage -Dome Coach -Dome Buffet -10-6 Sleeper -Diner -16 section Sleeper -Dome Observation Motive power. We have already produced matching F3s. (CB&Q, D&RGW and WP) Woow! Is it a dream coming true !?!! If I get it, they will match the F3s (D&RGW 552?) Do you have an idea when it will be released? (as well as the F3 D&RGW bumble bee paint scheme) Will these cars only released in sets or do you plan to release them separately later on? thanks!

the original COLORADO EAGLE consist of 1942 included four Pullman-Standard 6-6-4 sleeping cars [606-Arkansas River / 607-Colorado River / 608-Eagle River / and 609-Gunnison River]; other cars were Budd-built as follows: baggage cars 703 and 704, baggage mail cars 712 and 713, 56-seat chair cars 733 and 734, 48-seat grill-chair cars 722 and 723, and dining-lounge cars 742 (Cheyenne Mountain) and 743 (San Isabel). The 606, 607, 608, and 609 numbers were not applied until 1963. At the start, the sleeping cars were by name only. In June of 1948, dome cars built by Budd were placed into service on the COLORADO EAGLE as 890, 891, and 893. the westbound COLORADO EAGLE would leave St. Louis with two dome cars and would leave one of them in Kansas City. That car would then come back to St. Louis the next day as part of the eastbound COLORADO EAGLE. In 1952, the MP acquired five more dome cars from Pullman-Standard as 893, 894, 895, and 896 and these were lettered as THE EAGLE and originally intended for service on the TEXAS EAGLE. One more dome car 200 was lettered for the Texas and Pacific railroad. An excellent source of information is CAR NAMES, NUMBERS, and CONSISTS by Robert J. Wayner (the last copyright was 1972 and it is probably out of print. I send this information only to assist your efforts in getting everything correct. You have a lot on your plate. The CZ and other efforts you will do are greatly appreciated. Maybe one train as COLORADO EAGLE and another as THE EAGLE would be good. I would like either and will probably buy both or whatever...thanks, MP Fan

I didn't quite understand about reservations. Do we need to send a reservation for the CZ passenger sets or only for the N&W J class? Thanks Charlie

Parlor game time! Which of the newly announced products at NTS 2017 will be released first? Bonus points: When will it be released? Let the guessing game BEGIN! I would say Krauss-Maffei... perhaps start of December? This would have been my first guest since it's been in development longest and was announced last year. But since it was announced last year and had pre-orders taken on it, does it still count as "newly announced products at NTS 2017"? Although we've seen advance pictures and discussions of the Krauss, I would think it does count since NTS 2017 is the "official showing and announcing" of new AZL products. Also, Hans gave a possible timeline earlier.

Charlie we are taking reservations for the J. You have your choice between locomotive only, or locomotive with car sets. Email me at: robkluz@ztrack.com to place your reservation. Am I allowed to guess??
