Some quick notes about the AZL California Zephyr. We will make 4 different 11 car sets. Also we will sell the sole PRR CZ passenger car separately.
We are developing a special packaging for the sets as well. In Silver. There are 7 unique passenger cars in the 11 car consist:
-Baggage
-Dome Coach
-Dome Buffet
-10-6 Sleeper
-Diner
-16 section Sleeper
-Dome Observation
Motive power. We have already produced matching F3s. (CB&Q, D&RGW and WP)

Yes, please let us know if there is a list for preorder. Locomotives to be made are 600, 604, 607, 610 and 611 604 and 610 are only available with passenger cars (a set of 5 coaches, 1 diner, and 1 round end observation car) 611 is available as a stand alone locomotive, or with a set of passenger cars (unique road numbers on the passenger cars packaged with the 611) All passenger cars are painted in the Powhatan Arrow livery. Send Rob Kluz an email ztrack@aol.com to be put on the list. We will have more updates on the proper reservation process later, but an email will keep your place in line for now. Sign me up for the WP CZ set. Does this mean a capacity for other Zephyr trains? How about the Chiefs (sign me up for the San Francisco Chief)? Considering the detail of building the PRR CZ sleeper, can we expect the same attention to detail with the smooth-sided cars? PRR, NYC and SP in Armour Yellow? What about "City" cars? SP's two-tone grey? So many possibilities, hope you plan to build a lot of these. So I guess now this is justification for building the Greenville crossing in Z:  |

F-7s, lightweight passenger cars, and Maxi-Stacks?!
Wowzers. AZL is just pummeling MTL...I'm feeling a bit sorry for them. (I've heard that the only on-shore manufacturers left are Bowser, InterMountain and MTL.)
Nonetheless, looking forward to these releases.

Good Morning from Orlando! It is Sunday morning. Freight Cars:-Maxi-Stack I (5 cars with 2 x 40´ Containers eachWOW, now that is more like it! The Maxi-I's are a really nice announcement for Intermodal era guys. One request...it seems as if you are going to sell them WITH containers. First, I would ask that you maybe sell them without as well. But if you aren't willing to do that, at least make sure the containers are appropriate for a specific road name. So for example some shipping companies are more commonly seen on UP/CSX/NS/etc versus BNSF and vice-versa. Kato has done a fairly good job of this with their N Maxi-I's so following their lead would be good. If you need assistance with this, let me know. To point: Kato's Offerings TTX w/APL 40' Containers TTX w/Maersk 40' Containers BNSF "Swoosh" w/MOL 40' Containers AOK w/Hanjin 40' Containers MAERSK w/MAERSK 40' Containers TTX "New Logo" w/CAI 40' Containers To Which I would add... BNSF "Circle Logo" w Hyundai 40' Containers MAERSK Faded/Patched w/ Maersk Sealand 40' Containers If it were me, I would probably replace the MOL and CAI containers in the Kato list with something like China Shipping, MSC, or CMA-CGM which seem more common to me. But of course I admit my sample size and location might be different from others. Also keep in mind that while there are some differences between the original Maxi-I releases and the later, that probably won't matter a whole lot to most z-scalers so you have the older TTX and Maersk schemes that could use older era 40' containers. |

These are really cool! I hope you plan on building a lot of them! I believe they will be really popular! I've been trying to figure an easy way to hook up my other well cars into a unit like these. |

We have no firm release dates. Krauss-Maffei´s, Outside Braced Box Cars and Lightweights probably later this year. F7s, California Zephyr and Maxi Stack I´s probably before next Summer. Heavyweight Combine Fall 2018. J class 18-24 months from now.
