I'll second or third the request for Maxi-I's without containers! And BNSF Circle-cross with Hyundai, for those with containers.

Pardon me while I swoon....

I really like the NYC smooth sides! I hope the colors match (or at least coordinate with) MTL Thanks for making my day... I hope they will coordinate with the Commodore Vanderbilt. I'll switch out the tender coupler! 😊

Rob, will the two tone grey on the NYC lightweights match the paint on the NYC Heavyweights?

Not sure what our competitors match to! Thanks, Rob: Ha Ha... I understand MTL keeps factory paint samples ...and compares each batch of paint to the prototype. They'd better have it right... I myself prefer PMS matching. (that's an inside joke) Thanks again Rory

Not sure what our competitors match to! Has to be an improvement over the Southern silver cars I'm running now because Marklin never made the matching passenger cars.

Okay I am back from the NTS! I am logging the NW J pre-orders. If you don't get a confirmation email, then email me again. With all the emails backed up form being gone, I don't want to miss any.

We will post photos later today Last sneak peek of the Day! Sorry to say that I'm unable to attend NTS in person this year due to travel challenges, but Hans and Rob Kluz will be happy to see you when you stop by the booth. Thanks for your support of AZL and Z scale! A week after the lightweights were announced and I'm still drooling over them. Even though the AZL cars are pre-production samples and subject to changes, I am still amazed at the details that I can make out in the pictures. I tried comparing as best I could with one of my MTL cars. On the AZL, the attention to detail is stunning. MTL is good but is clearly outclassed by AZL's details. You can see rivet lines on the AZL roof. The MTL which only has solid lines drawn on the roof. The little vents are sharper and more defined on the AZL cars. You can see the various antennas on the roofs of several of the AZL cars. Also the variety of those antennas. Compare the UP and the Alaska observation cars. Totally different antenna patterns. So awesome! I'm going to go broke buying lightweights. Attachments:
