It would be really helpful for those of us that need to budget our allowance and plan ahead to get everything we would like to have of a particular road name when it does get released. I understand that you probably can't do this with limited production runs but surely you guys know what's coming up with the regular planned releases.
Thanks, Mark

One benefit of being a member of the AZL forum, we were warned almost a year ago. I would expect an A&B set to be as much as the E8 sets. Get your money ready! First out are the F3A&F3B sets. Railroads: ATSF, SP Black Widow, B&O, GN, NYC, PRR Brunswick Green, D&RGW black&yellow, CN, Southern and UP. At one point we will offer early F7s, but at the moment no F9s are planned. As with the E units, we hope to have the first deliveries later this year. Sincerely, Hans (AZL) -Matt

I cannot tell you the exact release plan of the F3s, simply because it may change. But I can tell you some of the roadnames that we have in the first run. Remember, we will release one F3 set a month. D&RGW, NYC, PRR, SP (Black Widow), UP, NP, GN, CN, SOU and B&O (these are not in release order except the D&RGW) Sincerely, Hans

Yes, they use the same DCC board as E8/9, GP30, SD70, GP7/9, GP38-2. Our intention is to only make ONE size of DCC board for all of our products. Best, -Rob(A) AZL

Fantastic news!! Thank you! Does anyone have pictures of these F3 running as A-B-B-A? Apparently 552 and 554 did run that way.

These F3s look great, can't wait to see the F7. The MTL F7 was back in 1986 a huge improvement compaired to Märklin's F unit, these AZL f units beat them all. It shows clearly the evolution of Z-scale detail improvement over all these years. /Frank
