Ah! Thank you! That's what I was looking for. I was thinking about eventually getting some BN SD45's, but I hate the thought of having to mod expensive, brand new locos, just to get them to look right.

Maybe in the AZL next run, (if they do one), this can be remedied slightly. They could possibly do a frame swap like the GP38's have currently as well? I had two of the Milw SD45's, but sold them cause they just didn't look right with the other locos I own.

I'm glad to see we now have the upgrade option for the GP38's and plan to do that soon. Could just new trucks with shorter towers improve upon the situation? That's a real shame about having to get rid of your Milw SD's, but I fully understand. I was about ready to go for some BN SD45's until I learned of the issue here. I viewed the Vimeo video, earlier in this thread, and it doesn't look quite right there, alone. "Stuff happens."

If you added the front pilot, it follows that the lower ride height would also lower the front coupler height.

Thanks for posting that. I still hope the next release of SD45's addresses the issue. The Z stuff is so small, I'm just not real thrilled with having to significantly mod brand new locomotives, with the risk of goofing things up and the hassle of having to do it.

I didn't realize that the SD45 sat so high. I'll have to dig mine out of the box and see.

Rob, the brass one or plastic? 🤔 The plastic one. I've seen the brass version, it looks like it has a normal height.
