Was there ever a "Wish List" on here for what we'd like to see in the future? Just to get some ideas out there, like a Northern Pacific SD45 or a Milw GP30 with the AAR trucks?

As I recall, both AZL and the MTL have solicited "wish lists." The only problem is that after about three days the list could best be summed up as everything.

One is far and away higher on my list...the GE C44-9W. You can see below that I'm willing to compromise, and I don't even mind the ES44's as a stand-in for the later BNSF Dash 9's. But for some reason, putting the ATSF/BNSF Silver Warbonnet or the BNSF H1 scheme on a ES44 just doesn't look/seem right to me. (Now, if I get 10 years down the road and my dream Z layout is underway and there is still no Dash 9, then you might see me fire up the airbrush. ) After that, my priority level on any one model is pretty low, but two sort of stand out...the EMD SD70MAC's and to a lesser extent the EMD SD60/60M series. It's tough to model early 2000's BNSF without these two, but as it is I can survive with SD70/70M's to stand in. But if I could have a bona-fide 70MAC in Grinstein Green and a true Oakway SD60 and BN SD60M then sign me up. Beyond those, it's just a toss up: EMD GP38/40/40-2's, GE Dash 8-40B's and 40BW's (and variants), GE B23/30-7's, GP60/60B/60M's, GP50's, AC4400's, SD40's, SD45-2's, C30-7's, and probably a dozen more. I guess I would include an updated GP35 and SD40-2 on the list just to have an updated version, but I'm not as dissatisfied with the MTL's as everyone else seems to be. I would say of all those, some type of different model of Geep would be nice...maybe a GP40 just for variety outside the GP38-2, and personally I would like to have the 8-40B to have an LMX unit, one of my faves. But any of these is very very far down my list. Frankly, give me a C44-9W in the right schemes and I'll make do with what is currently available for the rest of my fleet.

I am still believing that FA/PA would have big success ... That’s right! No locomotive wish-list is such without the Alco Pa-1/Pa-2

Great Northern FA's would be cool to have, along with Union Pacific.

I would really like to see a Alco RS-11 in Z. They have such unique lines, and lots of roads had them. That said, ANYTHING painted in Northern Pacific would be great, the SD45 would be awesome. A U25C, U28C, or U33C would be cool too.

I was dreaming of the FA-1 in NH ! Meanwhile I saw that Searails announces the RF-15/16 ; not ugly, at all. It would perfectly fit my NYC roster, too ... if delivered ready to run in its NYC-livery !

I'd say the GE dash-9 would be the best seller and possibly have the broadest appea... It would go well with the maxi 1 wellcars. It would give SP lovers an excuse to the SP maxi 1 cars just released.. TT

It would give SP lovers an excuse to the SP maxi 1 cars just released.. TT Don't forget, AZL has SP SD70Ms still available. These also are perfect for the SP Maxi-I sets! I thought a train of the SP MAXI-Is with a couple of the SP SD70Ms would look amazing. Here is more information on these locos: espee.railfan.net/spsd70m.htmlRob
