That foam is exactly what the MidweZt HaulerZ use for our modules. We rabbet 1" around the edge and put it in a 1" X 4" wood frame. That gives you 1" above the frame and 1" below the frame.

I just want to remind everyone that the NMRA National Train Show will be August 4th, 5th and 6th, 2017 in Orlando, Florida. Ellen and I will have our modules there and Mike Scully and Steve Eichman will have table-top modules on the B.Y.O.Z. table. I'd like to invite anyone who plans to attend the show to bring some trains to run.
Please stop by, say "Hi" and introduce yourself. We're looking forward to seeing everyone there. Thom Welsch

That's how I determined which coupler was wrong.

I put a thin spacer on the rear coupler of my AZL Mikado to lower it so the heavyweight passenger cars would stay coupled to it.

I design the sign in Print Shop (or similar program), print it, scan it and re-size the jpeg to the desired size then copy it back to Print Shop for final printing. You can also copy a sign from the internet and resize it.

I agree that the Kibri station looks more like a station you would find in the U.S. I used it to make a larger station with multiple tracks coming to the back under glass canopies. I moved the small roof over the doors to the front and made a new roof to go between the station and the glass canopies.

My layout is modules that I take to train shows. Mother Nature does an excellent job of cleaning them off every time I move them from the house to the car, from the car to the venue and back again. I've also used a portable air tank with an airbrush set at low pressure to blow the dust off. A soft bristle brush works well to clean dust off of roofs.

We will have a B. Y. O. Z. table but most of it will be taken up with table top modules from the Cascade Z scale group. I also don't have any more passes available to me.
