Rob and Hans,
in a few days the natonal train show 2016 will open its doors. Can we expect some new productc announcements for the upcoming year? As I am modelling the 50´s, 60´s, I saved a lot of money this year for appropiate items, preferably SP and MoPac / T&P.
Best Regards
Paisano

While Hans and Rob are far more forthcoming on new products than just about anyone in the industry, history shows that they always keep one secret for the show. But I think they have given us a few clues:
- it will be made of either brass or injection molded plastic - they'll have at least four wheel sets - the locomotive will be either steam, diesel or diesel electric prototypes - availablity sometime next year or so.

But if it's steam, like Ford said: "you can have any color you want so long as its black."

No they are moving away from Z scale, and going to T scale; first locomotive will be an GP7/9

Paisano, All funnin' aside AZL has generally spilled the beans here regarding most of their projects. Being new to the forum I'd suggest you browse the posts from the Robs and Hans: they'll tell you most of what to expect. I would suggest that one item that would interest you will be the SP & DRGW Krauss-Maffei locos. AZL may be far enough along they'll show it. But there has always been one surprise for the shows. We know that they won't tell us, but we could always have fun guessing. My nominee is a California Zephyr because: The Western Pacific F units haven't been released. Queries as to when they might be released have gone unanswered. Rob is building a "Feather River inspired" module. Of course the big surprise could be that there is no surprise.

I hope we have something new to show in Indiana. Do not think the Krauss-Maffei prototype will be ready though. I will not be present this year, but Rob will. Not exactly a new item, but we are taking delivery of new GP30s at the moment. The chassis is brand new and we have included a lot of roadnames.
