So now we can move on to speculating about what AZL is going to give us for April fools day! No, I'm still holding out for March Part 3. And March Part 4. My hope is either the BNSF or ARMN R-70-20 reefers so I can get my grubby little hands on the new tooling. That's all that's left on my list from the currently announced forthcoming AZL items, aside from a possible purchase of an SD70ACe or two at the end of the year. And they did say there were still a few unannounced items so possibilities there as well....bethgons would be nice.

Well I have all 5 on the way. I almost got another Mikado too but the risk was too high that something too good to pass up would come out April 1st.
I'm considering renumbering one of them to 913. In 1971, the WP took unit #913A (Builder# 8962) and #920A (Builder# 8976), took the best parts of each, and made one working unit on the chassis of #920A (Builder# 8976). This unit was renumbered 913A, later just 913. Unit Builder# 8962 was renumbered 920A and traded in. If I renumber AZL 920D to 913, I might open a hole in the space time continuum as it is the same unit as 920A in the two unit set.

I've got the A/B set on the way (along with a CP E8 I snuck in there) but am eagerly awaiting the E7s... SP, Penn, UP, ...maybe NYC.

I suspect somebody is getting an early start on April 1 at my expense. Hans thinks it is the most beautiful locomotive ever made. sar·casm /ˈsärˌkazəm/ noun: sarcasm; plural noun: sarcasms the use of irony to mock or convey contempt.

Total thumbs up. Who doesn’t like beer? found this: In 1967 freight unit 920B, which had a steam generator, was renumbered 806B and made available for passenger service... I’m thinking I’m gonna give up alcohol for St Patrick’s...

So now we can move on to speculating about what AZL is going to give us for April fools day! How about the Bipolar Boxcar series. They don't know if they're coming or going. And in keeping with the theme of this thread, I propose: ... Western Pacific!
