So with all this talk of stack cars. I see that micro trains undecs have sold out fairly quick. Question is who or where do you get the decals to complete these cars?

This is probably better served as a new topic, but...I'm not aware of any decals for the 48ft Husky Stacks in Z. That's not to say there aren't any, or that they cannot be cobbled together or contracted out with enough $$$. I think the reality is that Micro-Trains has produced most of the schemes done in real life on these cars. (glaring exception being the most common BN scheme, but MTL swears it is coming.) So these undecs are probably being used for freelance/protolance roads, or for Hello Kitty or Pennsy or other fantasy schemes.

A friend is looking into a company in Canada that shrank HO decals down to nscale size for him using micro scale blank decal sheets. It was not cheap and they would only do two or three copies maximum per sheet...

I’m very excited for this. I can’t wait for the Maxi-1s. Been hoping for this for a long time. From what I can tell it’s still happening?

Well, not much news on the Maxi-I front, but if you're wanting to expand your intermodal fleet here's a nice announcement from MTL:

OK, so since the "buzz is back" so to speak with the *soft announcement* of the RS3/RSD5's, any update on the Maxi-I's?

I don't have a Facebook account and really don't care to get one... Would you be able to make the video available another way?

I must be doing something wrong then because when I click on the link it takes me to Facebook showing the video paused and once I click the play button it gives me the choice of logging in or creating an account... I am on my smartphone so maybe it's different with a computer desktop...

Looks fantastic! Any updates on an ETA? OK, so we're getting close to Christmas-time budgeting season. Any clues AZL? First roadname released, updated ETA, associated containers, roadname list, anything?

I second what Doug mentions above. It would be really nice for AZL to get in the habit of doing some form of an upcoming_new's release/future releases...similar to what Athearn, ExactRail, or ScaleTrains does...a break down of what's in the pipeline including roadnames. Yes...we know not everything might not make it to production; yes...we know not everything will be on schedule; yes...we know things happen and get delayed; just keep the customer's in the loop and give us a head's up, that's all.
I personally don't see any need for everything to be some sort of state-top-secret only announced once a month at time of release? There is virtually no competition, so let's be honest...if you're not buying AZL, what are you buying that is readily available from a z_scale company/manufacturer who actually still produces in quantity [other than mtl]. And those of us who know better...we all know where the sample designs come from: HO and N...but that's an entirely different topic now isn't it...
So...does anyone from AZL care to let us know what the roadnames for the maxi's will be, road #'s, estimated quantities produced...is it going to be extremely limited...like the up_heritage unit' release's? There are no AZL well car's left in-stock anywhere with any dealer...can we expect re-runs?
