I prefer the GS3, too. No double head light, open cab looks better. I think the road no. I have was produced only 7 times as far as I remember. Thanks to Karl, we can do a head-to-head comparison at least for the daylight GS locomotives. GS-3 GS-4 Best, Sven

Allow me to quickly answer some questions I received by e-mail. 1) The Car Float has been described in detail with many more pictures. You will find everything when you follow this link: azlforum.com/post/7362/thread2) The SP 3310 has been built by Gerd on the basis of an AZL Mikado. Since Gerd is in this forum, please contact him directly in case of questions or advise how to construct. 3) The SP 4446 is a deskirted GS-4 by AZL. You will find much more information in our AZL brass thread: azlforum.com/post/11181/threadThe answers to the other questions have to wait a little bit, but I will surely answer. Thank you for your understanding. Best, Sven

I assembled a Micron Arts water tower & it was a 4 hands job. It's a kit for very experienced modelers. Micro structure shops & houses complement one another. Large structures can overwhelm z scale figures. A point well taken, I can only second this statement. However, I learned the hard way that everything that is in direct vicinity to the trains has to be perfectly on scale otherwise they look toy-like and kill the prototype impression. One wrong piece can destroy the whole ensemble. The more the buildings are placed away from the tracks the more flexibility you have. As an example, nobody would expect the sailing boat or the cruise ship on the right to be perfectly on scale, nor the houses between the trees on the left, but everything in direct vicinity to the track has to be perfectly on scale! Moreover, in this angle it would be better for the perspective view if they would be even smaller...... Best, Sven

I am a big fan of Micro Structures and luckily could get hold of some here in Switzerland. I used them in prominent positions on my layout "Niles Junction" Very nice! Say, where did you get those cool looking cars, parked outside your Micro Structures? Most of what I've found online for Zscale seems kind of crude, including Marklin and the Ebay Chinese vehicles. Yours look really sweet! They are a collection from people out of Portugal, Hungary and Germany. I have no clue whether they are still selling, sorry! Shamoo may know more about Alvarez. Here are some more cars if you want: azlforum.com/post/7368/threadazlforum.com/post/7372/threadBest, Sven PS: Final Picture FYI

Thanks for the reply Mark. These Greenville cars are really big, almost look Nn3 scale but looking at pictures of the real deal looks right. makes my GP7 look tiny. Fully agree with you, Dave, Was my first impression, too. Best, Sven

Sven... I cannot find any information on their website as to how to contact them. No email address... no social media contact... no way to order anything from them. I am happy to help you with that. Just contact me by e-mail. Best, Sven
