I will be out On Sunday. if I can get out of work on Saturday I will be attending both days And I plan on spending a majority of my time at your layout. I will walk around and look at others but there layouts are not the reason I'm going yours is.
I might also go check out the eastridge hobbies booth and see what hidden treasures they still have but I would imagine there stock has gotten pretty low over the years as they havnt brought in new stock of z scale in 8+ years.

Boxcarwilly I have some mtl track I need to get rid of 3 switches and tons of straight track 110mm and 220mm and r195 both 30 degree and 45 also some r220 curve sections I've made the switch to rokuhan as they offer so much more options most of the tracks have only been used a handful of times on a coffee table never glued or nailed down never been ballasted just track In a box I don't need anymore. I'm not in to selling things but rather would give them to you for free knowing it's going to help a fellow z scaler.

Boxcarwilly I'm coming this year to see your layout and I'm stoked on life for it. I've only ever seen 1 z scale layout befor in person. I've already marked it on the calendar. I will not be missing your layout for a 2nd year in a row

I would like to add my 2 cents to this I ordered an E8 and it was DOA an I tried to email rob and it never went through so I put up a post on the forum rob then emailed me and 100% sorted the issue that I was having I feel AZL has amazing customer service and great communication with there customers in the case that you get that one that just doesn't run properly AZL will make it right for you they have for me anyway

I think of it this way the first run will always be more money. in a few years tho when they are re released the price should come down due to the fact that the tooling has been "paid" for by the first run. I could be wrong here but I feel AZL is driven by the consumer and our never ending wish for more variety, better detail, and great service not driven by greed of just profit. if we all pay our share on first runs to keep the ball rolling so to speak in a few years the older items will come down in price. That's my hope anyway

That's great to know the motors can be swapped if need ever be. still sucks that after 12 years I still make rookie mistakes like a hair in the gears
