After seeing another bi-monthly release of engines and cars from AZL I have to say that I'm disappointed. I know that not everything can be manufactured and released at the same time, but when Hans says they are really close to releasing something it would be nice to have some kind of timeline to go by instead of waiting month after month only to be disappointed over and over again. But I guess close only counts in hand grenades, horseshoes and nuclear bombs.

I feel AZL is trying there best, but there is only so much they can do at a time. On the other side of things, maybe they need to do slightly less with new bodies and do some reprints as well of older body's. They have a tough job to do keeping us all happy and we are a minority in the modelling world

Patience my train friends. We (AZL and Ztrack Distribution) just can't release everything at once. We have to watch the pace and try to release products in an even flow. We also work to try and get a good mix of road names each month.
This can be hard since there are so many products in the pipeline. Even with twice a month releases, it seems we are not putting a dent in the backlog. Here are some thoughts. Some of the current car styles will have one release a month well into 2017. We still owe the Z scale community E8s to match former heavy-weight passenger cars (think CNW and IC). Repaints of older body styles are coming. The PS2-cd is one example. But we see stronger demand with the new body styles. This is evident with the ACF 2-bays, coil cars, corn syrup cars and the initial response two the trinity reefers. If you don't see a release that interest you, go back and look at prior releases. We are starting to sell out of older runs so you may want to pickup previous releases before it is too late.
As for the CN F3s... these are just around the corner. Just wait a little longer.

Milwaukee Road GP30s please oh please sir, keep up the good work chaps What is your reference for a MILW GP30? I don't seem to be able to find that they actually owned any and the successor line owned very few. Mark

I guess the biggest problem AZL has is they are not a manufacturer, only a brand relying on Chinese suppliers, therefore not really in full control of releases and the timing

I'm sad to read this kind of post. This is a hobby, we all would love to see different stuff to be released, if you're not patient, modeling is not made for you. AZL is doing a lot, reading and answering to almost everyone on different forums and trying to take into account all demands. They are the only Z scale producer that have considerably increased the variety of Z scale trains in the past years, there is so much to do to make most of us happy ..... One would say, do it yourself if you cannot wait! I would also love to see many trains out, I keep dreaming without being sure to see them in the futur. AZL deserve more to be thanked and encouraged.... Anyway.... Have a nice week-end!

Mark All the Milwaukee GP30s ran on ARR type B trucks, as a modeller I would be happy with the trucks you use as I think sometimes we must compromise. There was only 15 and they were built in 1963,initially as 340-355 then as 1000-1015. Dave D UK

Dave, Gerd can build you a GP30 with ARR trucks in Milwaukee road colors.
