The hood width is basically the same like the Geeps, so nothing special to fit AZL‘s 7mm motor. It’s interesting that Rudy Vale, the Z Maker has made his SW1500 advanced chassis fit the standard AZL PCB or decoder.

Sorry to hear you get out of the hobby, you did so much for the hobby in the past and it was a pleasure to work for you. But of course good look for the future and your new life in Brazil! BTW: The links don't work

I can tell you I saw the FA-1 at the PCR convention last year. I didn't give it much attention as he was pushing N/Nn3 offerings. They are redesigning the power max chassis which will be used for the previously mention 2020 release. I tend to agree with Gerd, it's hard to believe that the same chassis, no matter how it's designed, can work with both those locomotives. No picture?

Searails lost me, they announced dozens of models, but nothing comes through. Trying to squeeze any shape and model over their powermax chassis, which has very limited use because of its dimensions. They are themselves their worst enemy

Thanks for the update, Rob. I guess the biggest problem is to find a new factory with the capability to produce and assemble your product from existing tooling. From my time in the injection moulding business I know people are not happy to put someone else’s tool into their precious injection moulding machine. And finding design capabilities is another set of problems...

First they have to find somebody to make stuff from existing tooling and than somebody to actually design new models. Waiting for a new announcement when things continue and how. Don't expect anything new in 2019 (except what's already hidden in Rob's drawers...) Rogue GP38-2 tooling is owned by AZL, not MTL
