Hello Friends I'm not very happy to say that I've the sell my whole Z Collection. My Family and I will move to Brasil in two years and there is no place for hobby. As you guys now, I've really rare stuff from AZL, Freudenreich, Kurt Lueck and more. I've took some pictures today (Part 1) and also the first list. There will be many more items but I start with the rarest ones. Link to the pictures: picturesLinke to the List: Listyou can contact me: juerg.rueedi@itee.ch Thank you very much and best Regards Jürg

The link to the pictures just takes you to a blank page. The link the list requires a login.

Sorry to hear you get out of the hobby, you did so much for the hobby in the past and it was a pleasure to work for you. But of course good look for the future and your new life in Brazil! BTW: The links don't work

That link works! Nice collection. I've admired your photos over the years so a lot of the pieces are very familiar.
Sorry that you're having to exit the hobby. Hopefully you will find good homes for these items. Being a BNSF modeler I am salivating, but I'm about one more "life happens" incident away from being out of the hobby myself. So I'll have to watch from the sidelines. Good luck!

Jürg May I suggest that you not rush to sell all your Z scale. There is an active model railroad (ferromodelismo) community in Brazil, particularly in the Germanic regions of southern Brazil: www.facebook.com/loucosportrens/And there is even some Z scale: Mark

This is sad to learn.. I've also been watching a lot your work, I would actually say that because of it, I decided to stay in Z scale, at the time AZL release the Challenger, PA's etc.. I agree with Mark's suggestion, at least keep some of it, at least your brass locos! They're so rare, and Z isn't so big to carry along in your suitcase! I say that even if some of your stuff is still on my dream list like the PA and switchers! I had to sell my Big boy last year....still thinking of it ....I won't do the same for the others! Wishing you the best! Charlie

Jürg, you should keep at least one Z scale C44-9 with you. Maybe going to Brazil will give you the idea to modify it as a Zm BB44-9Wm. .. Dom
