John, send me a pm with your address and I will send you one of my unused boards. I am converting all my engines to DCC and these will be surplus.
AZL really took care of me on my one engine problem and I'd like to pay it forward.

F units are different. They dominated their time and the F3s will compliment other AZL products (present and future). If we were going to make another GP, it would be a GP20 or more likely a GP40 (not a GP35). Sincerely, Hans GP-50 would be a better choice. You only need to tool up a new long hood and platform. I would however buy GP-20's, 40's, 60's, or 35's.

All but one of my AZL roster of engines is shown here. Only had problems with the BNSF GP-39 lower left. Motor problem that AZL took care of. I'd say that all but one of my expectations (lack of a BNSF SD-75) have been me so far. I also do HO and you would think that all would be well considering the size and popularity. But contrast that with my BLI 4-8-4 that sound worked for about 1 second when new, or the BLI SD-9 that doesn't even do motor start up until you hit 30 scale mph. How about my old Atlas GP-38 that arrived wired backwards. I could go on, but you get the point. If I run into a problem, I don't get mad unless customer service runs me off.

You know, the NS purchased the BNSF SD75is. So running NS and BNFS is totally prototypical!!! Actually I am already seeing these combinations around Central Ohio. NS is common here in Missouri too, especially on the portion of the Transcon that they share east of KC where it's hard to tell whose train it is due to the mixed power. True on the coal trains going to and from Wyoming from here. I have seen a lot of UP, and CSX power too, but I only have so many hobby dollars to spend. Keep in mind that I already have an NS GP38 and SD-70 standard cab. I also have 2 new ATSF SD-75's, so don't think I am not helping to finance your kids college funds. My next purchases WILL be the BNSF Pumkins.," After that I will consider adding more, but not until I get the ones I really need.

Sigh, I guess we aint ever gonna see a BNSF unit. Forgive me for not getting too excited about this one. I have a standard cab NS already and the next $$$ AZL gets from me will be for a BNSF unit like the one in the header that you tease me with everyday.
I think I will go play with my HO RR for a while. Someone call me when the BNSF heritage scheme is out.

If we ever create a pre-order system (customers put up a refundable deposit of 50% MSRP) we could accelerate our project plan. I would be willing to participate in a pre-order system providing it wasn't run like the current release system. I mean what is the point of making some of us wait for our desired road names to be released? How many months do I have to look at that BNSF SD70 before I can buy it?

I went with a Digitrax Zephyr that I use as a base station and throttle. I plug a DT400 into that and can operate 2 more trains. I like the Zephyr as it is hypersensitive to shorting almost to the point of being obnoxious. However I would rather reset it, than replace a loco\decoder. I have run Eight locos and 3 sound bug units on this setup without problems. The DT400 is also used upstairs on my HO layout.

But what I have not been able to find in Z scale is military boats, submarines and military miniatures/figures. Kim, there is a ton of military naval detail items available. 1/200 and 1/192 are close to Z and becoming more popular. Warning shameless plug, go to ModelWarships.com and you should find what your looking for.

I think it's the same motor, but different flywheels.
