I recently received 2 New York Central E8's and the NYC GP7 and GP9. With the matching NYC bay window cabooses, I am all set to build a fine roster. AZL continues to do a fine job in producing fine quality trains. These 4 new locomotives run smoothly, quietly, and most importantly smooth starting and stopping. In assembling a heavyweight consist or 2, I have many of the NYC cars so far offered (as well as several other eastern railroads). What I am missing is an RPO and an observation. I know that Rob A. is attentive to the details, and would like to know the following: are either the Central Square or Central Village offered last month from a NYC roster? The 2 tone gray colors look right, but I know these were used by other railroads as well as by NYC. If neither of these are NYC cars, then will AZL be offering an observation car for NYC? The same question also applies to the RPO car. Read more: azlforum.com/conversation/174#ixzz3TjByk623

After reading the start of this thread, I decided to order an Aztec cleaning car. I called John, spoke to him briefly, and ordered over the phone. The car arrived 2 days later, which I thought was fast. I have run it all over my layout and agree with all the others who like it. Definitely worth the investment!

Wow! This sis great news, Hans. As a fan of eastern roads, 3 of the 4 fit the bill for me. My vote is for the N&W jclass. I would love to see #611. It has a wonderful history and has been released many times in other scales. I would buy one the moment you release it!

Other than the earlier Aspen releases, and its recent PS-4, AZL has been the only game in town for brass steam. All 4 of AZL's previous steam locos have been of western roads. How about that N&W J you suggested, Rob? I hope you can prod Hans to move in that direction. I would buy one in a heartbeat!

:)I would like to add my positive comments to those made by others here. We may have the rivet counters, and those impatient with slow delivery dates, however, who besides AZL have delivered so much to the z scale community over the past couple of years? All of the heavy weight passengers, the gp 38's, and the mikados, leaving out a few others, have been brought to us by just 2 very devoted and enterprising guys! I own 3 different mikados, and will be purchasing more of them, and many of the heavyweights (mainly eastern).
Rob or Hans: is there any chance we will see Southern Crescent heavyweights any time? I would love to pull some of those with my mikado or the new Aspen PS-4.
KUDOS TO AZL1
