Would be a lot of fun to do the PAs as an injection locomotive. It is not on our immediate horizon. In a normal year (if there is anything like a normal year) we would like to introduce 2 new injection locomotives. This year we are shooting for 4 if we count the E units. But we need to have about 4 in development in any given time to have that happen. At the moment we have two close to production (this year), the SD45 and ES44AC. Then we have another locomotive that should be ready early next year. We also have two locomotives in very early development. And next year we will add two more. We may leak one of the new locomotives at the NTS in Portland. Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

Awesome! I'm pulling for the N&W J, I won't be surprised if you make the UP 4-8-4 first but a guy can dream. BTW the 2-8-8-2 y3 would still be a great model. UP, Pennsy, N&W, and Virginia al used them. I'm sure you could find a few other road names too.

Indeed, please make the UP 4-8-4 first - the Challenger needs a helping hand with all these reefers...........

I guess easterners are desperatly in cry for a steamer of their side.. Maybe they are currently lighting candles for any NYC, N&W, Southern, Monon, C&O or Pennsylvania sample... But that won't depend on me anyway. Dom

I would like to see F7s and matching cabooses in Alaska (blue &yellow), Milwaukee Road (Orange & Black), SP (bloody nose), and UP. I am not asking for too much? Am I? (LOL).

Update on Brass Steam:
We have commissioned TWO brass stream projects.
It will take about 12-18 months before delivery. I don't want to give away too much yet because I have not seen any design drawings, but some information is appropriate:
1) They are completely separate projects with different wheel configurations 2) They will come as locomotives only, or you will be able to acquire them with a complete set of cars that were prototypical to the locomotives. 3) They were both mentioned on multiple "wish lists" from some of our best clients.
Best, -Rob(A)

The counter financing has to be well planned, even a small bank robbery ;-) Best, Sven

We will announce new items at the NTS in Portland. That is about 6 weeks away. We are sure Z scalers will not be disappointed! I will start a Portland blog where you will be able to see our new items on the day we do the announcements. Those days are August 28, 29 and 30. Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

Hans, I haven't said much because I expect AZL to have a "knock your socks off" announcement that will please Z scalers and impress the rest of the hobby. I'd be disappointed if you didn't keep your big news for NTS.
Mark
