July 2016 New Release – Part 1

EMD GP30s – NEW ROAD NAMES!

After a number of years hiatus, AZL has brought back the EMD GP30s in all new road names. The first release is the spectacular Chessie System in both the B&O and C&O version.

The nose shouldn't be all Orange on top. There should be a dark blue anti glare panel. That's a pretty major oversight in my opinion.

I think it's great to finally see chessie made by AZL and look forward to the gp38-2 release. I have just painted enough of this scheme to know what to look for and that is a huge and obvious mistake that should have been avoided. It can be fixed with a decal or paint them on like I do but that's one they should've done a little more research on before approving the final.

I want that MKT! It's not about the money, and damn, I hate to ever buy anything exclusive, but I need that MKT! Why did they not just make 500 of them?

Think about how many new Z Scalers would have joined the ranks if they could have seen the MKT, Mopac, and WP in a string at their local hobby shops?
