Saw the video of the train show on the model railroader site... The via rail looks sick, hope it wont be 2017... Especially since I also want the upcoming GE locos(with CP rail colors)

Folks,
If you have not yet pre-ordered your Amtrak P42 and / or Superliners, now might be a good time to do so as we anticipate delivery very soon.
Best Rob(A)

Rob, that's great news. Very much looking forward to the Amtrak I have on order. I have scraped and scratched and clawed to make sure I had enough saved to buy them and thankfully I have just sold enough of my n-scale stuff now to make it happen. Plus a table at a train show this weekend to sell off even more so that I can hopefully secure a couple of ES44's once they officially make the announcement board.

Just looking over this thread again as I was going to get my pre-order in when I noticed something in one of the pix from the NTS. In the pic of the superliners, there are also 4 single level cars (viewliners? amfleet?). Yet after visiting a few of the AZL dealers websites, no one is taking pre-orders for these single level cars. Only double deck superliners are listed for pre-order.
I went back and reviewed this entire thread including the listing of all pre-orders available and didn't see them listed either.
Are these single level cars a future release? Someone had also mentioned about a baggage car. Another future release?

The single cars are not available for pre-order. These were a surprise announcement at the NTS. We will have more information once we are close to release.
