....... I already consider to protect all my locomotives' underneath gearing with a very thin styrene cover that would be put in place with a droplet of superglue from either side of the gearings on truck's cover. Dom That is a very interesting approach, Dom, Please let me know how it works. Best, Sven

Karl has a good feeling for all these small huts as well which you see so frequently around the tracks. Here are three examples:

WM had gp7/9, gp35, gp38-2 and you could use a sd40-2 even though they used sd40s. WM has quite a few geeps, some were repainted to chessie system after the merger. I would go with a gp9 or gp35 for a short consist because of the broad range of years you can cover. Thank you, Aaron, Anything specific for WP (Western Pacific) ? Or the same statement? Best, Sven I had a slip up. I had western Maryland on the brain. With western pacific you could use gp7/9 and gp35s. They had a ton of the f7 engines but a geep would be the way to go

I think a gp35 would be good and they have a couple different paint schemes

I have some of the miller signs. For what I model I actually prefer the road side billboards and fellow modeler Loren Snyder and his wife Karen make some fine pieces at Stone bridge modelers. I have the USMC billboard. www.zscalemonster.com/stonebridge/laser-accessories/

I think you would lose the realism using the lighted signs simply because they don't look real.

I agree, road signs without light or just little LED at the upper edge, but a Diner without neon lights???

I would put them on the station. It'd be nice to put some old Coca Cola or Pepsi advertisement signs on the side
