Allow me to quickly answer some questions I received by e-mail. 1) The Car Float has been described in detail with many more pictures. You will find everything when you follow this link: azlforum.com/post/7362/thread2) The SP 3310 has been built by Gerd on the basis of an AZL Mikado. Since Gerd is in this forum, please contact him directly in case of questions or advise how to construct. 3) The SP 4446 is a deskirted GS-4 by AZL. You will find much more information in our AZL brass thread: azlforum.com/post/11181/threadThe answers to the other questions have to wait a little bit, but I will surely answer. Thank you for your understanding. Best, Sven

Looks like that some folks here are a little bit shy to out themselves as "fantasy scheme likers". Nevertheless, they have asked me per e-mail to show some more pictures around the SD 45 HH, which I of course happily do. All the best, Sven

When we recently discussed the importance of backdrops for the right atmosphere of your layout azlforum.com/post/11684/threadanother important factor came to my mind, the angle you view at the layout (or photograph it). Let's take an example; a SP GS-4 with her train approaches the mole. (all of the six pictures that follow look at exactly the same scene) Picture 1: "Wide Emptiness", wide sky, only the locomotive and a lonely warehouse Picture 2: "Really Busy!", a lot of people, cars, houses, ship, etc. .....

Picture 3: "Technically Harbour" - clean, harbour buildings & SP coaches Picture 4: "The big picture" - full view on the layout, preferred by the print media (tough to tell a story this way! )

Picture 5: "The Photo Artist" - the light on the water and the mole play the dominant role, yes there is a train, too Picture 6: "The Technical One" - the locomotive in classical position, optimal light for all details, everything else to be ignored (even the sea gull on the wooden chest.... ) What do you think? Best, Sven
