Probably the best item Tim ever made is the Mi-Jack. It's a must for a intermodal yard.

We had been asked by a top ranked rail road journal to come up with something "more modern" for our Chesapeake Bay layout. Difficult nowadays, there is some business by NS and CSX but none of them seems to operate close to the water or through the dunes any more. However, we finally found something and want to ask the local experts if this would work: "The Bay Coast Railroad operates 96 miles of trackage between Little Creek in Norfolk, VA to Pocomoke City, Maryland. The railroad would sometimes work as far south as Norfolk Southern's Portlock Yard in Chesapeake about once a week. Between Norfolk and Cape Charles, the railroad uses a carfloat to cross The Chesapeake Bay, and is one of only two or three railroads to my knowledge still in existence that uses a carfloat. This railroad was formerly known as the Eastern Shore Railroad before the buyout from Cassatt Management, LLC. The locomotive roster includes a former Frisco GP15-1 and two EMD GP10. BCR has three distinct operating areas. The 64.1-mile (103.2 km) northern portion of its rail system connects with Norfolk Southern in Pocomoke City (north) and the system's car float in Cape Charles, Virginia. A car float, crossing 26 miles (42 km) of the Chesapeake Bay from Cape Charles to Norfolk, comprises the middle portion. The southern end of the system is a terminal track around Little Creek, Virginia, connecting with Norfolk Southern Railway, CSX Transportation, and the Norfolk and Portsmouth Belt Line Railroad. BCR uses two tug boat-guided railroad car floats of 25 and 15 car capacity to link the 26-mile (42 km) water route across the Chesapeake Bay between Cape Charles and Norfolk — using the north and south terminals of the Little Creek-Cape Charles Ferry. This car float operation has been in continuous service since April 1885, and is one of only two remaining in the United States." Best, Sven

The main track to the pier. In the foreground is the line to Little Deal Island, "Jutta" is heading the small train (Railex and Saller products). Later on the BCR MoW train comes along............
