Here is another new print. This is of a modernized heavyweight baggage/rpo car of the type the Rock Island had. For this car, rather than lay down primer then paint, I painted the silver directly on the print, then sealed it. I like that it has a more silver finish that the coach, which was hit with primer before painting. I'm thinking of doing this with any other silver passenger cars I print. I will have my next monthly video going up on YouTube this weekend. I'll post the link here when it goes live.  |

I've also made a simple dining car. These will probably be all the cars I need of this style. I'll think about doing a smooth-side coach or diner at some point.   |

Here are the last two boxcars I've made. One is tuscan red with a black roof. The other I combined a little chestnut with yellow to darken the yellow. I like how it seems like weathering.  |

I have two more passenger cars printed and painted. These will probably be the last for a while. Painting the streamlined coach in the Frisco's red & silver was fiddly, but I guess it looks decent enough.   |

Very nice! Love that combine, I need a similar one, but a Harriman style for Union Pacific. Thanks! I designed it in Tinkercad as two pieces, a body and a roof. I kept the designs simple because of the size. I used that same body style for my heavyweight baggage car and rpo car. I'm hoping to use it for a print of a short heavyweight coach. |
