Is AZL going to produce NYC E-7 "B" units? Interesting image in the Trainini magazine that just came out today pertaining to your question. Not sure who JAGRAFXWIK (CC-BY-SA-4.0) but the photo credit belongs to them ... View AttachmentRumor is true! Thanks, Frank!

Interesting indeed! Those appear to be a new coupler design as the brake hose doesn't terminate parallel to the rails like MTL. Also they appear to be body mounted except for the pilot.

I wouldn't read too much into the art. Not sure who did it... but it is not AZL's.

Not AZL art. We posted a .pdf with all available art schemes a week or two ago. But reading between the lines (Trainini 2/2021) one can get the impression that we had the E7 tooling on hand. That is not true, since all the tooling was done early 2020. But the F7 we had on hand since 2013. Thus maybe the confusion.

I’m assuming that you’ve been looking out for the interests of MTL ...by not releasing F7 product before now....

Ran a web search for the image. It’s on wikimedia and has nothing to do with model railroading
