We are almost ready to re-release the SD70. The IC SD70 Standard Cab should be available next week. We have redone the chassis completely. The SD70 now shares the same motor as the Mikado, RDC, GP30 and GP38-2. It also uses our new Board which is easily exchanged with a Digitrax DDC board. It is also the first time we release a regular SD70 Standard Cab. Hope it will be worth the wait! If I am not mistaken, they are close to 3 years delayed from our old supplier. Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

It looks very nice, Hans. Can you tell us how many road numbers there'll be? Two? Three?

The IC will have road numbers 1003, 1010, 1019 and 1020 if I remember correctly. We may not release all road numbers at once. Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

Thanks, Hans! I greatly appreciate learning the road numbers as soon as possible for any AZL release. I enjoy researching the road numbers for the actual locos to see where railfanners have captured the units in operation, what loads they were pulling, and what dates they were operating. It's really fun to nail down a particular road number and, thanks to the internet, determine just how realistic it is for my layout scheme.

I would not mind if you spread out the numbers. I will be getting all 3 of the CB&Q GPs, but it is hard to buy all 3 at one whack. Others might disagree.
