Thanks Hans, will the next big boy release be in a set with freight cars like the challenger set?

American Z Line has showcased a number of new products during the National Train Show in Atlanta. The new run of SD70Ms and SD75i were on display. AZL is bringing back the UP 'flag' SD70M with flared radiators. Also coming back is the BNSF SD75i in heritage 2 colors. New to the line will be ATSF, SP, NS (flared radiators), CSX (dark future), CSX in gray (not shown) and Susquehanna. Finally, AZL showed their all new SD70s with standard cabs. On display were IC, CN, NS and Conrail. Rob **Bump** Any planned release line-up for 2014, similar to what was done with all the Mikado releases, so those of us seriously interested in modern line-of-road power can get a heads-up? Thank's.

Slow Boats Yes, they seem to be around. Since we do not have our own assembly line, we are finding it harder and harder to predict when products arrive. Some are late (very late as the GP7s and SD70s) and other are done ahead of time like the new Big Boy run with the CA-1 caboose. Our predictions (or forecasts) are that the GP7s and SD70s will be in our hands within 45 days. We had planned to offer a new run of 40´PFE Reefers for the 2nd Big Boy run. We may have those at the end of April. More heavyweights and our new LPG car should also be available in the Spring. Our F3s will probably be out this Summer and as Robert mentioned, the E8s towards the end of this year. We apologize that we can not be more accurate with dates of product arrivals, but that is part of doing outsourced business. A shortage of deliveries was also the reason we did not announce new products in January. You will notice that I am using words like: predictions, forecasts, may, probably and should. We truly hope to substitute these words with: Yes, they are here. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

No signing, but I hope to keep everyone up to date on the 4014 restoration. It is currently in West Covina (LA) getting prepped for the Cheyenne journey. Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

Hans, I've done a couple of Silicon Valley companies that were fabless and I really sympathize. It can get really frustrating when contractors push out your schedule for the sake of other (perhaps larger) customers. But I can tell you it does feel really good when you get big enough (or their business gets bad enough) that they start begging you for more business. But Jeff is right, it's nice to have a break on the wallet. Mark

Looking forward to the SD70s locos in CN and IC. I am also hoping to see more locos in Canadian Pacific and maybe some in BC Rail in the future.

We are almost ready to re-release the SD70. The IC SD70 Standard Cab should be available next week. We have redone the chassis completely. The SD70 now shares the same motor as the Mikado, RDC, GP30 and GP38-2. It also uses our new Board which is easily exchanged with a Digitrax DDC board. It is also the first time we release a regular SD70 Standard Cab. Hope it will be worth the wait! If I am not mistaken, they are close to 3 years delayed from our old supplier. Sincerely, Hans (AZL)
