If you're refering to the Daylight Orange paint, I won't disagree, I've always liked the orange. However, the details in the scheme (the most obvious being the placement of "Southern Pacific"), may not be an appropriate match to the modeled hardware. Compare the two images. The 6000 loco is all factory stock while 6017 has been customed: different horns, an additional vent, louvers vs. grill behind the cab, deflectors in the roof. I haven't seen the AZL E7 and I don't know how far they will go with applied details, but if we are looking for an acurately modeled loco, we might do just as well asking the boxcar company to do Daylight on their F7. Although I can't find an image online, I'd like to see the 1st Daylight scheme, same colors but with "Southern Pacific" appearing on the top panels on both the A & B units. This paint scheme comes from before 1950, which is about when all the SP mods were starting to be made. Food for thought.

Rumor or not, no injection E7s planned. I now regret not making more brass E7s. Sincerely, Hans

Can we get some pics of the SD70Ms and SD75i's that are coming out? I need some documentation to take to the bank to secure my loan. Also road number info on the Geep-7's would be helpful. Burlington (BN, BNSF, ATSF and related).
Thanks.
Also Decoder info on these new releases would also be appreciated.

Thanks, I have seen that page. I was hoping for road numbers for them and pics of the SD70i in BNSF colors. Will the latter be like those currently on the market?

They are stuck in China. Looks like they will go surface freight which quickly translates into November delivery. We will update as soon as we know more. Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

Yes there will be more brass. First out is another batch of Big Boys. After the 4-8-8-4 we have several options. We will most probably announce a new brass locomotive early next year. Sincerely, Hans

Hi, The SD70 chassis is all new. Most of the plastic is the same. We will have spares for the new locomotive. More on this later. Sincerely, Hans
