Endless possibilities!! Not eactly. If one counts original owners and assume it’s only profitable to model roads that owned two or more and assuming one paint scheme per road, it’s 48. Should be enough to last through the decade though. Then we can start on alternate paint schemes in 2031!

We know AZL will cover the Class 1's but, what about Regional, Belt Line, Industrial and private "plant" switchers?
It would be advantageous to the modeler for AZL to release Undecorated SW1500/SW1000's.
FYI: IHB has had 6 different paint schemes on their fleet of 20 to 25 SW1500's over the last 50+ years.
My airbrush is "Ready to Rock" !

My airbrush is "Ready to Rock" ! TIP: Buy NS and remove the NS decoration, which is normally pretty easy with AZL products. Then you have the basic black and can go from there. Some undec shells would be nice for many reasons, but AZL seems pretty adamant that they aren't interested in doing that. Anyway, I love the IHB schemes and look forward to seeing your fleet. Have a good friend who modeled IHB in N-scale on his last layout and it's a really great theme to model no doubt.

We will be getting artwork soon. Will share after a brief review When you post the artwork, you might want to post more detail than the F7s. That way those of us who are obsessed with a particular road might be able to give you some pointers.

AZL SW1500 WEB.pdf (690.31 KB) Have created a .pdf of the first versions artwork. As mentioned above, the artwork contain mistakes and do not pay much attention to roadnumbers.
