Well technically plus 10% more, but it’s an impressive layout and you’re fortunate to have that much space fort modeling.

I work on an extension for the layout the new module is 2.05m by 0.6m (nearly 6 feet by 2 feet)
by the way it is also a reversing loop (that I will command via an atlas manual device)
it will be an industrial area crossed by a 4 lane road, with a lot of industries to switch it is connected to the layout by a removable device the first view here

What are you using for a road bed? It looks great! hello, I use sheets of expanded pvc . I use the same material for the fascia, the background and bases for buildings
it is easy to cut with and x acto knife, scribe, paint , bend, glue, an you can have it in large sheets of 1m2 or more , in white or in color, in various thickness.
I usually use white 3 mm thick .
the commercial name in France is Komacel. In the US you can have it in DIY stores.

hello Alberich
it is done with a ruler and fine point pigment pens from Posca
much easier than any system that you have mentionned

Thanks for the reference, that's exactly what I was looking for. I tried "Pilot" but they are too "runny", the ink flows like corrector liquid ("effaceur").
