Very realistic tanks. But something to think about: where is the water coming from and where is it going? They might benefit from a bit of plumbing.

you are right if I can find a wind mill pump I will had to the one on the hill For now I consider that they are out of service and order for many many years: the pumps and pipes were removed, but not the tanks as it was too expensive On videos of prototypes trains in Arizona or New Mexico, I have seen this type of water tanks in the middle of nowhere in the desert. I can t guess what they were used for ? (live stock? mining ? ..) But I think, it ads to the scenery.

To be honest I've seen dozens of these tanks and never really looked at them carefully. Possibly used as a water supply during the steam era, although those would more likely be elevated. Probably used for watering live stock, but you would want a small stock yard and a ramps for that purpose. There are both a wind mill and stock yard available on Monster Z, but do you really need them. These are old tanks that could easily outlast those structures, leaving only a few rotting posts or a concrete base indicating they were ever there. What I was thinking of was actual plumbing in to the tank. It would be impractical to maintain plumbing running underneath the tank and I would expect an inlet running into the top of the tank and outlet near the bottom: Mark
