Great! Totally unexpected for this year. But may I point out the suspension for the bridge should run all the way across: Mark

It does appear that I was a bit prophetic: www.azlforum.com/post/16989I won't press for details since that's what NTS is for. If you are still working out the details of the sets, may I suggest one that is D&RGW heavy. After the CZ, D&RGW ran a Rio Grande Zephyr using a subset of their CZ cars: users.sisna.com/JimBobNay/RGZ_Equipment.htm. You could do a set of cars that would model both trains. I believe Burlington also had a Denver-Chicago train that used their CZ cars, but I'll leave those details for the Burlington fans.

That will look *really* nice on the 19' yard and all the long miles of track with big sweeping curves at NTS

I found this link in N Scale Magazine. Something good is coming! AZL California Zephyr PageBTW - WP Observation Silver Crescent is #881 They are a great looking set. Any images yet for the WP F3s? I think Matt and Charlie caught all the typos. I would point out a factual error in the history on the announcement. The CZ ended with WP's withdrawal from the train in 1970. It never made it into the Amtrak era. The route continued on with Burlington's Denver Zephyr into the Amtrak era, and the DRGW Rio Grande Zephyr until 1983. Amtrak was unable to get WP to participate in passenger service. The first SF-CHI train was the San Francisco Zephyr, following mostly the City of San Francisco route. After DRGW abandoned passenger service, the train was rerouted through Denver and renamed the California Zephyr.

Any images yet for the WP F3s? F3 images are right above the set descriptions. I guess I was blinded by the brilliance of the Budd cars.

I model the Milwaukee Road in the early 70's, but that WP may be too good to pass up!!
