The Rokuhan controllers will also work with 8 AAA batteries. This is the safest way to supply power to your track if you don't have the Rokuhan adapter. I have used batteries only many times and it is truly amazing on how long the batteries last!

Just drop me an email and let me know what you need. sales@ztrack.com The trouble with sending you an email is that some items I want may be out of stock! But we have no way of knowing without endless emails! Not my preferred way of doing business. I'm still itching to place an order! But I have yet to send an email, I'm not about to get into a back and forth about availability. Slow-poking to get a new web site doesn't seem to play into sales... I have to agree... It's been a few months since AZL Direct went down and it's getting hard to remember what was available... I may have a photographic memory but at my age images that don't conjure up a little excitement have a tendency to get yellow and faded!

There were items available from AZL Direct which were not available from dealers. Any news on when it may be up and running again ? Ditto!

Has anyone else experienced any performance issues with the new AZL SD40-2's in general... When I received my new SP SD40T-2s they were both running erratically, noisy, and derailing in the curves of my figure 8 test track (220mm Rokuhan curves). One was worse than the other. As I looked closer I noticed that the front truck was slightly rubbing and catching on the steps, also I noticed that the front coupler was sticking out farther than the rear coupler. It turned out the shell(s) were sitting back a little on the chassis(s). All it took was to apply a small amount of pressure to slide the shell forward and there was an audible click of the shell going back into place. They both run fine, actually great now! Not sure how this happened... there was [no] evidence of shipping damage or miss handling.

There's a SP SD40T-2 tunnel motor in the banner now, so just a matter of time before the dealers start posting the new releases!

It will be sometime next week. Rob K likes to keep on a strict schedule. Me? Not as much. Maybe this release was being shipped on a Boing 747 air-freighter and one of the engines caught on fire and then the cargo door popped off and they flew out in the middle of a blizzard...

All pictures of the DRGW combine seem to show it in a much richer, deeper, darker colour than the other coaches originally released. Does anyone know if there is a difference, or is it just “a trick of the light” ? I would say the colors match just fine. But if you get too close you may notice the steps are slightly different when placed next to one from the first release.

Hi Rob, How soon will these be available? I will be interested in trying both styles. Thanks, Mark Rob Kluz has them now. Rob, Are these listed on AZL Direct? If so I don't see them anywhere... Or will we need to contact Rob Kluz and get them through the back door? Thanks again, Mark

These were all hits this release!... Hits on my bank account!
Can't resist most anything SP and especially D&RGW!
Some of the SP road numbers are duplicate of the Daylight E9s so gotta be careful about what you order if that matters. From what I know (according to wiki), Southern Pacific only had 9 E9As 6046 thru 6054 and 1 E8A 6018. Repaints were probably done throughout their lives.

In the video you guys were asking for our input on which intermodal truck tractors we would suggest for you to make to go along with AZL's new trailers. This would probably be a great subject for a new poll once we give you enough models to put up for vote. I'm going to suggest the Mack R series for conventional cab. Very commonly used for intermodal trans in the 70s, 80s, and beyond (and plus it had a few acting rolls in the movies). And I would suggest Freightliner, International, or maybe Mack for the cabover. And then there's the shorter terminal tractors that are used for container management at the ports and railroad yards like Lonestar and Kalmar. Whichever ones are picked should be models that aren't offered by other companies. Mark
