I don’t want replacement parts, because I can’t trust them. I want the replacement chassis, and it’s taking longer then a elephant having a baby.

Ed Turner is in the Richmond area, and does some local show. His last show is in Ashland and he has 10 modules.

It’s not even the additional cost. It’s any modification will void your warranty.

I can vouch for Alvaro. He will ask for payment only after it’s ready to be shipped. I am getting more skeptical of people that hide from their responsibilities, because they hide behind the internet. Alvaro is not one of them.

Frank, I read this thread a bit differently. A newcomer to Z thought he was looking at MTLs version of the traction tires, rather worn. We were able to educate him on MTL GPs and which really dirty wheels look like. He also wanted to know if it was a fair price. At $5 more than NIB MSRP its a bit pricey and we showed him what other options were open to him. And one last thing for newcomers, compare the conditions of the trucks in the two images. Screw heads are unscarred on your unit and you don't have grooves worn in the wheels. I would describe it as good+ valued approaching MSRP. The one at the start of the thread to me is fair, and not seeing anything else, I'd probably be willing to part with $125-$150. So that's my two Francs, Mark The pictures are such that I can’t tell if it has traction tires. I do have couple that I converted to traction tires, but stop because I rather have smoother running loco.

It can be done now. It’s how much are you willing to spend.

Just look at those window frames. There’s no way I can paint that.

You can still get brand new MTL GP9s. I know hobby shops have them with Oregon air.

I also add that there’s a wating list for his cars. They are not mass produced, and are little gems.
