F units are different. They dominated their time and the F3s will compliment other AZL products (present and future). If we were going to make another GP, it would be a GP20 or more likely a GP40 (not a GP35). Sincerely, Hans GP-50 would be a better choice. You only need to tool up a new long hood and platform. I would however buy GP-20's, 40's, 60's, or 35's.

I really like the idea of the GP40 and 20. High nose GP20 for the WP, and low nose for Sierra 48 & 50.

I'd like to see more steam! How about a 4-8-2 Mountain?

The Mikado is great for injection molded pricing but it sure would be nice to have another affordable steam engine choice from AZL!

The reply is simple: none. Dom Dom,
You only needed to be in the right place and right time to have acquired the one and only GE C44-9 (that I know of) AZL built, maybe they will offer it again in the future...
best regards, Mark

I would like to see AZL released the C44 in brass again but with a updated mechanism. Those old brass are some of the roughest running engines in z, and it takes lot of work to make them run descent.

Hi Mark: indeed I've 7 or 8 of these. But as said above, the only link between an U-Boat and a Dash 9 is that both of them are products of GE. Outside of that... Dom

Dom, Mrja,
Don't get me wrong, I guess I was trying to emphasize that the only GE loco (that I know of) is that one from the past (the brass C44) and I have not seen any "U-boats" offered by anyone... I would really like to see Z scale take off but with so few manufactures it's so wonder one goes into the local hobby shop and asks for- "Z-SCALE!??" "We don't carry that scale, nobody wants them!" But I am still going to build my layout and I have chosen Z scale because I can have much more track, locos, rolling stock, and scenery in a much more affordable space.
Respectfully, the new kid on the block, Mark

Mark I'm just getting stocked up on track to build a layout also. Basic layout will be 96" x 30" with option to add on. What size are you planing on building? Bob
