AZL I have a quick question in regards to this product and the mtl coupler conversion you mentioned earlier will the marklin trucks be available as a replacement part i prefer supporting north Americas crap economy if it's an easier conversion with the marklin truck I could just purchase one separately and just do the conversion that way rather then put my money into Europe for the whole locomotive thanks in advance

I wish I had seen this a few nights ago I had swapped the internals for mtl coupler internals and the height was wrong so I went to switch them back and the tab broke off now I see where I went wrong and also I have no real experience with z scale other then the last 2 weeks and these locos are real easy to work on even when the truck pops apart an the contacts and wheel sets go flying as long as you find the parts there a simple design to put back together atleast I had no issues

Lol the girlfriend is going to be my building painter and landscaper I'm going to be the the track and train maintenance and mountain shaper that sort of thing we seem to be making a good team so far only started building a few little things like a fire hall and gas station but back to the topic won't the rokuhan controllers internal fuse catch a short like that?

Lol that soothing effect puts me right to sleep and then my girlfriend is always left with the task of shutting down the trains befor bed or at 2 am when she wakes up to a train running but now I'll just tell her to leave it going it'll be fine I might not tempt fait tho just AZL for that I think my mtls would die after a few hours there getting pretty old now

Mtl and the other guys do have very nice passenger cars as far as my level of detail is concerned but to collect them with only 1 style available each year in one road name normally baggage cars to boot how am I ever supposed to make a sweet passenger train and I have yet to get any heavyweights I only had one brand up till a week ago and sadly it wasn't AZL since I've discovered how amazing these products are, how they produce what we want not what we don't need , an how they have this whole one on one with everyone I've now spent $1500 on azl locos and intermodel freight ( just waiting for the azl vacation to end befor the rest get shipped ) and I can't wait to see some of these passenger cars and steam engines in person just gotta wait for the train fund to replenish a little first befor taking on the heavyweights when the time comes that the lightweights are available I'll be buying a few sets in whatever looks the best to me that much I can say for sure

Awesome We live 5 minutes walk from each other I'm on Ogden road on the end closer to Lynwood. It's funny so far my girlfriend approves of the trains due to the "cute" factor of z scale and even if that wears off I had the trains first lol. That's great you passed it on to your son and that he got his friend into it glad to know it still growing in popularity. How old is your son? I'm only a young lad at 21 myself. I'm really looking forward to seeing this layout and meeting you that's sounds like an incredible feat. I'll look into that cmrs see what there all about most groups are ho or n scale so I never took any interest in Calgary groups

So number 2 went off without a hitch very happy with the pair of CN locos now the CP rail gp38-2 ran about 2 laps of the oval before grinding to a halt lol being in Canada I thought if I save the shipping and the hassle from sending it over borders maybe I could learn in the process well I was right I pulled the shell off and undid the screws like a kid running through a candy store and all the sudden it fell into many pieces it took me a while but it's a fairly simple design and now that locos has been running like a top I have no idea what the issue was but hey I'm not going to complain and I'm proud of my first tear down or fall apart as I like to call them
