I believe it's "Miniatures by Erik" that I saw the Dynamic Brake blank that he sells miniaturesbyeric.com to remove the DB housing. Then get the Micron Art 1201 detail kit for the GP38's. Make a worthy non-DB GP38-2 in no time! I've created an account, but the site search tool doesn't seem to locate any "z" products...

The shell at Shapeways I can find has no cab and no cover for the "non-dynamic brake" blank. Miniatures by Erik is not doing Z, or? And the cab of the AZL GP38-2 is fixed connected yo the hoods, so you would have to cut it off and merge it with the Shapeways shell.Easier to cut and file off the little blister. The surface of shapeways can't be better than ejection molding, technically impossible.

the shapeways shell is two parts. the main body and then there is a second set with the cab, fans and choice of dynamic or non dynamic brake vents.
