The Ajin sticker is intact still sealing them in the original plastic wrap. I think its safe to say they are "Mint Condition New in the box" Wow Tj Nice Which limb and kidney did you loose to get those .

But it doesn't mean it will run well. My experience with brass AZL is they can be bad runners, and have to rework the trucks to get them to run right.

Hi AZL can we now have some injection ALCO's PA1 and PB1 DRGWs to go,with these great coaches, I would be happy with a "fantasy" E8 a+b along with a E8b SP Dalight, or would anyone consider doing a repaint for me to make these happen 🤔

....... Wonder how far off paint color match on yellow is between two different manufacturers? Even in the real world the same color of rolling stock differs over years because of wethering. So, some weathering of the scale models helps out. /Frank
The DRGW used about three different yellows (gold) in the 1940s and between locomotives and rolling stock so an exact match wouldn't be all that prototypical.
Actually, the black F3s would be a prototypical match to the heavyweights. The ALCOs were reserved for the CZ until a time when most of the heavyweights had been retired or repurposed. The F units didn't get Prospector paint until well into the 1950s. The only unit I'm confident ran with the ALCOs and the Ski Train is Pikes Peak.

Mark The foam definately would stick to the model, ...but I feel like the plastic wrap is there to prevent this. The plastic could stick, but not like the foam. That said, I would keep it sealed, as it is. ... you won't be disappointed! They weren't the best runners, for sure. I would personally pay quite a premium for them sealed as they are.
