AZL has created a subscription program for the upcoming Norfolk Southern ES44AC Heritage locomotives. A total of ten NS heritage locomotives will be released. These will be offered one a month. A limited number of subscriptions are being offered direct through AZL. Those individuals who sign up for the program will receive their locomotives automatically once they are released. We are asking to have a Visa or MasterCard on file. There will be a $10 shipping charge in your cart for this purpose. This $10 charge will be applied to your first locomotive. The cards will be charged automatically once each locomotive is available. The subscription price is $219.00 per locomotive plus shipping. Note we are unable to take requests for single locomotive or versions. We are only taking reservations for the complete series. The deadline to participate in the subscription program is May 31st. Reservations can be placed at: www.azldirect.com/exclusives

No, John, that's not how it works. You'll need to get your own.

I can't believe you guys didn't learn from your last release. You produced a limited number engines and was surprised of the response of sales . Sounds like you want to drive people away from Z scale. I personally only wanted 3 of the NS heritage locos. I waited all this time and chances are I may not get them. Now you wonder why z is not as big as other scales. Is cause of availability and some of us lack of funds to do the subscription . It's getting to the place were I'm loosing interest.

Kev got it!
For those wanting singles, contact your AZL dealer. A number of dealers have signed up for the program and will be receiving these locomotives automatically. If the past release is any indication, these dealers will have stock of these locos.
Yes, LV is part of the Heritage program.
The subscription program is available for international customers. In addition, HRT in Germany is part of the subscription program and will be receiving locos automatically.

I don't believe these will be as popular as the UP Heritage series. I also don't know how many of each they made and of that number, how many are reserved for subscriptions.

Mgatdog....If there are a couple of these that you want, I would find a dealer now and make an arrangement with them to buy the ones you want. I don't think you will have a problem getting them.

I did and the dealer doesn't want stuck with the others that won't sell. Which I can understand . I tried another one hopefully it may happen.

That's what I did for the couple of UP Heritage SD70ACe's I wanted. I contacted Anthony at Zscalemonster early on and had no problem getting what I wanted. I did the subscription for the NS Heritage SD70ACe's since I knew I wanted all of them.
