Thanks!

Yes we will. First out is the Krauss-Maffei ML-4000 (2017 delivery) followed by the N&W J Class steam (2018 delivery or so we think).

This is a beautiful iconic loco which still sees occasional service today. Thanks for choosing it and for making the announcement 😄😄

I made a streamlined Powhatan arrow set and I made a set of n&w heavyweights. I need a couple of J's.

I am starting to save money immediately :-) I did not vote in any poll for this new brass project (if any), but I would definitely have voted for the J class !!!

I had pre-ordered a couple with Rob and knowing when I need to have the money ready for payment would help me plan things out with the ES44's scheduled to arrive in April. Thanks,

Would you offer undecorated versions of these units? Better, unpainted?

Unpainted Krauss-Maffei I know no. Brass releases are always going to be painted.

Would you offer undecorated versions of these units? Better, unpainted? Out of curiosity why? To the best of my knowledge these units only had 4 paint schemes: DRGW prospector, SP prospector, SP "bloody" nose, and the Brazilian RR red (http://sp9010.ncry.org/brazil.htm). I can see AZL doing the first three, but probably not the last one since Brazil uses metric gauge (and there is almost no market for Z in Brazil). Mark

Hi, Exact release dates for brass? Never get an exact date from the factory. We know that we will get the KM ML-4000 sample early May. If it matches the drawings and performed on the track we will give the OK for production. Unpainted? The run is basically sold out. But if anyone prefer their unit not painted that should not be hard to accommodate. Send an email to Rob Kluz. I would need to know by Easter if there are anyone who wants an unpainted ML-4000. Paint schemes: Only D&RGW prospector and SP bloody nose will be offered. (No discount on unpainted units)

I think we had planned on 70 locomotives. Very few of those are left. I think we can get another 10 locomotives from the manufacturer, but that will be it. We do have flexibility to alter the mix between D&RGW and SP though. At least until the end of April.
