SP had only one E8 #6018. What you folks modelled are E9s. And don't forget that you need an E7B to go with it. Correct - I misstyped - E9 is what I should have said. And for the record, we did in fact make a SP Daylight E7 A-B-B locomotive set. It was AZL 2843 - produced in brass.

I'm going to run my daylight set behind my GS4. It should be an easier pull than the brass passenger cars that came with my #4449. This release was a great surprise! Hi John, If you have one of the sets (AZL #2702) this release is in my eyes the perfect addition to it (without the two sleepers, of course). May be you can do some pictures or a brief video? Best, Sven

Sorry Sven, but SP owned only one E8 #6018. The road numbers you mentioned were E9s: espee.railfan.net/spe-08.htmlSP used a lot of E7Bs. I'll bet a run of injection molded dummy E7Bs in the various SP colors would sell out quickly. Mark

To me, all the E's and all the F's look the same.

I can guarantee you that an fp9a looks nothing like an fl9 just my 2 cents

The GS locomotives should pull this easily. I can help with two pictures of an AZL GS-3 by Karl Sinn; I hope that some sets make it over to Europe as well. Best, Sven
