Nice to see them return. Any plans on doing a non dynamic brake version? Originally being from Southwestern Ohio, I'd love to see some DT&I's come out.

Wow, that plow on the LH unit is sweet-matching paint!! Will they fit the older GP38's??

Plow: It is attached to the pilot and the pilot should fit older GP38s. Some adjustments may have to be done. Dynamic Brake: No we do not have any plans. We would have to make a brand new shell for that. Remember that the shell is actually the ancient RLW GP38-2.

Very interresting!!
3 questions:
-Is this pilot/coupler/snowplow going to be available as a spare part in order to fit existing GP38s? -Is the coupler operative (and not dummy such as what is mounted on GP30 spare pilot)? -Is it glued, or screwed to pilot (ie may be swapped with MTL's, such as old timer SD70s)?

Thanks for the BN PS2-CD's. The BN cars with that 3-bar scheme are among my favorite freight cars of all time. The models look great, right numbers for the right cars, etc. (would've been cool to have gray/silver roofwalks but I'll cope. ) I bought all six and may end up with a few more eventually.

Dom, AZL already offers pilots and plows as spare parts. You can find them here: www.azldirect.com/partsThe coupler is not operative. It is the same as the coupler of the GP30 spare pilot. The design is very different from the first run AZL SD70s that used a coupler box. While the box that is used is essentially the same size, the box is now part of the truck. Rob

Rob The only plow/pilot I see on the AZL Direct website, is the GP7/9 set. Is this the same as the GP30/38??
