But the question remains where the NYC M450 & M457 come from. Black market knockoffs? (which would worry me) AZL cleaning their shelves? (in which case I have a list of OOP models you can clean in my direction).
I apologize if I'm a bit too inquisitive, but having worked for a company that lost $millions through someone in our recycle chain selling scrape product as prime, I'm always concerned that I'm getting what I paid for.

But why don't any other dealers have these and when were they released? Why? Why? Why?
All in good fun!
Mark, you are way too willing to take black market knockoffs.

Sooooo all will be clear in two weeks. But lets say M B Klein may have received their allotment early and jumped the gun on releasing these...
I was going to jump in earlier, but I love all the conspiracy theories!!!

Is there a politically correct term for schmuck? Again, all in good fun.
This statement leads me to another question though. Do dealers order product right after you announce it to the general public or is there a previous announcement for dealers? I have to believe it is the latter based on your comment above.

We have a couple of different programs for dealers. First, dealers receive announcements the same day we post the new items on the forums. At that time, we open our dealer portal to start accepting orders for these items. Dealers have a choice to take part of our standing order program. Dealers such as Klein have agreed to take a set amount of locos, cars and sets of each new item. These dealers typically get their new items before the announcements are made. This is one of the benefits of being a dealer with a standing order. We also have dealers who take part in our subscription programs such as the the NS Heritage program. These dealers will also be the first to receive these new items. So there you have it.
