I have found quite a few photos online of the Montana Rail Link's SD70ACes paired and their SD45. Since AZL offers both, this is a great opportunity for some prototypical trains. This photo stuck out to me: The SD70ACe is up front with the SD45 behind. Micro-Trains offered a MRL boxcar that is very similar to the one in the photo. It was item number 51000130 (just get rid of the orange replacement door). For the tank cars, AZL's 23,000 gallon GATX funnel flow cars would be a good representation. A four pack is item 90508-1. www.azldirect.com/azl-freight/funnel-flow/90508-1This would be a fun train to model! Trains.com has a nice photo gallery of the MRL locomotives. Cool idea. That would definitely make for a neat train. And it's super easy to remove the blue GATX logo on those tank cars to make them a little more like the real thing. If I had a thousand bucks burning a hole in my pocket I would be all over it. ;-) Maybe someday...

62' Rib side Gondolas for sawdust in MRL GN BN NP still being used here in Montana. would go well with both SD45 and SD70Ace.
