All very valid points to be sure, but my reason for switching is that AZL engine runs so much better and quieter then the MTL coffee grinders. The A and B units run identically which is something the MTL A's and B's do not. And the AZL's don't wobble. MTL look like their drunk all the time. I have 3 MTL F7 sets and each of them wobble. It's horrible. At least for me, it matters little that I'm putting and F7 body on an F3 chassis, once it's done you'd never know the different anyway, but it all comes down to performance and for what I need them to do, I need excellent performers and MTL's just don't cut it. If that's the Case can I have a MT F unit chassis? I maybe able to use one for an idea I have...

Dave, If you go into MTL's website and pull up their product page and look under locomotives, you'll find mine which are the Canadian Pacific burgundy and grey and the Canadian National red nose with black and white diagonal stripes. That's all I have.

Fireman: That's a possibility but it could be some time before this will happen. I have to buy 3 AZL sets and that's going to be a one at a time situation over the next year because of the expense involved.

I think you mean nscaler711 I was only playing, I think I can pick them up for under $100 now... But maybe a while, I have to save for a P42... (but if you decide to pitch them in the trash, make sure you don't miss the box with my name on it! )
